Charlie Fleming Associates carries out what is often known as a “sound test” roughly twice a week. This is where a building control officer asks for a test to be carried out on a floor or wall. Having carried out literally hundreds of these tests, they are too numerous to list.

Most tests are carried out in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the central belt, but we have been as far afield as Inverness, in the north-east, and Alloway in the south-west. A long time ago, Charlie drove down to London to do one, and more recently Peter went across to Dublin to measure sound transmission. Indeed, we will be delighted to quote for jobs anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
